The miniature Fornace collection is the result of careful research into the cotto brick, one of the building elements par excellence, which has been part of the architectural elements since ancient times. The firing and shaping process gave each piece its own originality in terms of colour variation and surface relief. The small 60x240mm size rediscovers this timeless material and restores a ceramic version that is faithful to the aesthetic details of its origins but modernised in terms of a material mixed and shaped by human hands in porcelain stoneware.
